Recent Events

Last week, we had an incredible experience visiting Future Mobility Ireland and A-techSYN - Advanced Technologies with Synergies. Huge thanks to John Drysdale and Wassim Derguech for planning and giving us an insightful tour! Highlights included seeing a large DJI drone up close, learning about the technicalities behind it and the sensors used (thanks to Future Mobility Ireland), and hearing about the ambition to bring eVTOLs (electric vertical take-off and landing vehicles) to Ireland. Trying out a drone simulation added a hands-on element that brought these innovations to life!

This visit truly reflects what AeroTUS is all about: giving students firsthand exposure to important missions and projects in aerospace. With Ireland’s aerospace industry growing, we’re excited to support this progress and help support this generation and prepare the next generation of leaders, innovators, and collaborators.
